What is Cruzelo?
Cruzelo is a free information website for drivers. We explain auto insurance in plain language, share general ideas for managing the cost of coverage, and let you opt in to updates by email or text. We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker.
Is Cruzelo an insurer?
No. Cruzelo does not sell, price, bind, underwrite, or service insurance policies, and we cannot make coverage or claims decisions. Policies are issued by insurance companies and sold by agents and brokers.
Does Cruzelo cost anything?
No. Cruzelo is free. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply if you choose to receive text messages.
Can you tell me which policy is right for me?
No. We provide general information only. The right coverage depends on your vehicle, your finances, your state, and your needs. Your insurer or an insurance professional in your state can advise you on your situation.
Costs and savings
Can you promise I will save money?
No. Auto insurance prices depend on many factors, and a lower price can reflect different limits or a higher deductible rather than a better deal. Cruzelo does not guarantee any rate, discount, or savings.
What are general ways drivers manage auto insurance costs?
Examples include asking your insurer which discounts exist, reviewing your limits and deductibles, keeping a clean driving record, and reading your policy before each renewal. What applies depends on your insurer, state, and situation, and none of these is guaranteed to lower your price.
Who can see the details I submit?
We do not send your details to insurance companies, agents, or other third parties for their marketing. Service providers, such as our email and text platforms, handle information only to run the service for us.
Signing up and text messages
What happens once I submit the form?
You'll see a confirmation and get an email. If you chose text messages, we also send a welcome text. After that we send the general information you asked about.
Am I required to agree to texts?
No. The two text-message boxes on our form are optional and unchecked by default. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase or of requesting information.
What texts will I get, and how many?
Informational texts (such as confirmation of your request and general coverage information) and, only if you opt in separately, promotional texts (such as new guides and cost-saving tips). Message frequency varies, with up to about 8 messages a month. Msg & data rates may apply. See the SMS Terms for details.
How do I unsubscribe from texts?
Reply STOP to any message. You'll get one final confirmation and no more texts. Reply HELP for help, or write to [email protected] any time.
Privacy
Is my information sold?
No. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Will insurers or agents start contacting me because of Cruzelo?
Not because of Cruzelo. We do not send your details to insurance companies or agents, and your Cruzelo text consent applies only to Cruzelo.
How can I have my information deleted?
Email [email protected] and tell us what you'd like removed. See the "Your privacy rights" section of the Privacy Policy for more.
